I, Jane Baker, am the one owner stylist of Artistic Fusion Hair Company. Styling hair for 35 years, I have plenty of experience. Some of my accomplishments include: Winning project glossy profile for Goldwell International Magazine; Being featured in Goldwell European Press for color on a past Miss Virginia; Receiving education at the highest achievement level for Goldwell color in New York's training facility by platform educators from all over the world; Graduating in the top of my class of 200 at Southeastern College of Beauty in Charlotte, North Carolina.


My specialty is creating an exciting look to conform to your budget. I will style your hair as I would a piece of art. I style each individual's hair to bring out their specific features. All my work uses the perfect amount of creativity that results in the perfect do. My ideas are progressive and creative. In addition, I was certified and trained in Chicago’s well known pivot point hair cutting method. Let me make your new look.

  • What type of styling do you do?

    We can style your hair in any way you desire. We do men, women, and children's haircuts and can blow dry or flatiron once finished. Our specific styling services include adding extensions, doing basic, partial, and designer wraps, Keratin straightening, and styling for bridal or formal occasions.

  • How should I prepare for getting my hair colored?

    There are ways you can prepare for your appointment with us before getting your hair colored. First, you should not wash your hair with shampoo directly before an appointment. Having a natural layer acts as a barrier against chemicals in the color dye. Further, washing your hair with shampoo should be avoided in the 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Additionally, you should try not to style your hair before getting it colored because you want it to be in its natural state. You should enter the salon with your hair looking the way you like to wear it most and parting it to your liking. To make sure your hair turns out exactly how you want it, it is also helpful to bring in ideas and photos of how you want your hair to be styled to help your hair stylist meet your needs and requests for the perfect hair cut.


    To keep your hair color looking fresh and not worn out after your hair coloring appointment, it is recommended that you get your hair colored every four to eight weeks. Roots should be colored approximately every six weeks, and if you are highlighting your hair, that should be done every two to four months. This can also vary depending on how noticeable you want your coloring to be. However, our Goldwell products will leave you color looking vibrant and new for a long time. With a variety of color options, we can perform any coloring job that comes to mind!

  • What is the difference between semi-permanent and demi-permanent hair color?

    Semi-permanent hair color is a deposit-only, temporary hair color. It will last about three to six washes. Demi-permanent hair color is also temporary, but not as temporary as semi-permanent hair color. It will last about 24 to 28 washes. Demi-permanent hair color is also mixed with a low volume developer and is ammonia free.

  • What type of waxing do you do?

    You have the option to wax your eyebrows, lips, chin, or the entire face for a reasonable price.
